Location: In the center of Chinese mainland and northeast of Hunan province 

Changsha is the capital of Central China's Hunan province. It is a historical city well-known at home and abroad. In 2017, the city was crowned the title "Culture City of East Asia" by China, Japan and South Korea.

Economy: Changsha's GDP increased by 8.5 percent in 2018, and the added value of industries above a designated size saw a growth of 7.6 percent. Its fixed-asset investment saw a year-on-year increase of 11.5 percent, while the growth rate of its total retail sales of consumer goods was 10 percent. Administrative divisions: Changsha city governs a county-level city of Liuyang, and two counties- Changsha county and Ningxiang county, and six districts – Tianxin district, Furong district, Kaifu district, Yuelu district, Wangcheng district and Yuhua district.
