China Med exhibition kicks off in Beijing

China Med 2021, one of the most influential exhibitions in the Chinese and Asian medical instruments and equipment industry, kicked off on Monday and will last through Wednesday in Beijing.

With the industry facing many challenges, China Med 2021 will continue to leverage its advantages rising from the integration of exhibitions and conferences, to discuss and seek solutions to deal with the industry's key problems, the organizers said.

The exhibition provides a quality communication platform for people in the industry, with participating enterprises demonstrating their signature and newest offerings, and researchers and academicians sharing insights, they said.

China Med 2021 has a total exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, and about 500 participating companies from around the world, including GE, Philips, Siemens, United Imaging, Varian, Elekta, Neusoft, Olympus and Deepwise. Participants hail from countries including Germany, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, the United States, Japan and Singapore.

The academic conferences within various disciplines held in accordance with China Med have long been a highlight of the exhibition. This year, such academic conferences include forums on ultrasound medicine, high-end imaging equipment technology and clinical applications, cutting-edge radiation oncology treatment technology, international medical device industrial development, and chronic and geriatric disease care.

The exhibition also features special demonstration areas for medical imaging, radiotherapy, medical emergency rescue, testing equipment, rehabilitation physiotherapy and medical consumables.
