Changshu Museum covers an area of over 6,000 square meters, and has a total construction area of 9,100 square meters.

It now has seven exhibition halls for jade, ceramics, calligraphy and other treasures.

In the porcelain exhibition hall, a naked eye three-dimensional imaging system has been added so that the audience can see the porcelain products at close range from multiple angles.

The museum houses over 16,000 pieces (sets) of cultural relics ranging from the Songze and Liangzhu Culture some 5,000 years ago to the New Democratic Revolution period (1919-49); among them are 21 national first-class cultural relics and 261 second-level cultural relics.

One hundred and fifty-five paintings and pieces of calligraphy collected by the Changshu Museum are included in the "Catalog of Ancient Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy".

Cultural relics such as Liangzhu Jade, Celadon wares of the Six Dynasties and Porcelain from the Imperial Kilns of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) have been selected for the "Chinese Cultural Relics Exhibition" and its catalogue.
