Guangxi's import, export volume grows in Jan-Feb

The total import and export volume of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region in the first two months of 2021 expanded by 68.8 percent year on year to 85.88 billion yuan ($13.23 billion), officials from Nanning Customs announced on March 16.

ASEAN is Guangxi's largest trading partner, with the import and export volume between the two sides amounting to 44.57 billion yuan, up 98.2 percent year-on-year.

Guangxi's export volume of household appliances and medical instruments in the first two months increased by 299.1 percent and 48.6 percent respectively. The export volume of textiles including masks reached 3.26 billion yuan with a year-on-year growth of 161.8 percent. 

In addition, the overall import and export volume of Guangxi's border trade and bonded logistics doubled from the previous year.
