The Dazu Stone Carving Museum, which first opened to the public in June 2015, covers a construction area of 18,000 square meters. Its design was inspired by the buildings of the Tang Dynasty (618-907). It employs ancient wooden structures and components in order to present the magnificence of the stone carvings of Dazu Stone Carving Scenic Spot.

Focusing on the collection, preservation, research and utilization of local stone-carved works of art, the museum adopts a series of modern techniques to demonstrate their historical and cultural value.
