SXU focuses on global sci-tech cooperation with universities

Jin Xiaoming, former director of Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Science and Technology, on Dec 4 visited Shanxi University (SXU) to conduct in-depth talks on international scientific and technological cooperation between universities.

Jin delivered a report on the overall situation with open international cooperation in sci-tech innovation and China's involvement, as well as the experience in the area of universities at home and abroad, and he put forward suggestions for promoting international cooperation among Chinese universities.

Afterwards, he shared ideas with teachers from the university's Science and Technology Division, the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Modern Research Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Institute of Molecular Science, Institute of Biotechnology and the Institute of Optoelectronics.
