Homestay helps boost local economy in Hunan

In recent years, the city of Zhangjiajie has developed homestay economy in villages around the Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Hunan province. Some unused houses in these villages have been transformed into homestay hotels. Villagers operate homestay business and also enjoy a stake in it. Currently, there are more than 300 homestay hotels, receiving over 3 million tourists from home and abroad every year.
