Last novel coronavirus patient cured in Changchun

The last patient infected with the novel coronavirus pneumonia in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, was declared cured and discharged from Changchun hospital for infectious diseases on March 10, according to hospital officials.

They added that this has brought the total confirmed case in Changchun city to zero.

Since Jan 19, the Changchun hospital for infectious diseases has received a total of 43 confirmed cases, among whom eight were serious cases, ranging from 10 to 87 years old.

The hospital arranged for 90 medical workers in three teams to treat patients.

Officials said none of the medical workers were infected and all patients were cured.
