Beijing has stepped up its preparation for the 2022 Winter Olympics by adding two new members on its official sponsorship program.

The Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games announced on Friday that multinational consultancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Beijing-based Suirui Group have signed up to become the Games’ official suppliers to support the preparation and operation for the gala event in their respective areas.

PwC will provide accounting and consulting services for the 2022 Winter Olympics, while Suirui Group will facilitate the organization by providing office collaboration software and supporting services.

As part of the Games’ official marketing program, Beijing 2022’s sponsorship system breaks members into four tiers – official partners, sponsors, exclusive suppliers and suppliers – based on different prices and rights.

PwC and Suirui, as suppliers, will operate their respective Games’ sponsorship programs on the fourth tier.

As of March 6, 2020, a total of 10 Beijing 2022 official partners have signed up, namely Bank of China, Air China, Yili Group, ANTA, China Unicom, Shougang Group, CNPC, Sinopec Group, State Grid, and PICC Group.

A total of eight official sponsors have inked deals, namely Tsingtao Beer, Yanjing Beer, Jinlongyu, Shunxin, Cultural Investment Holdings, Beijing Beiao Group and Heng Yuan Xiang and Qi An Xin.

Five official exclusive suppliers have also signed up, namely EF Education, iFLYTEK, China Post, Hylink and Snickers. The Friday announcement has added PwC and Suirui on the supplier level.
