The departure of freight train 75026 – which left Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi province, for Małaszewicze in Poland on Feb 29 – marked a special moment for the China-Europe Express, according to rail officials.
They said it was the province's first China-Europe Express cargo train to go to Poland.
Loaded with 650 metric tons of vehicle parts, flanges and clothing in 41 containers, the train will take 15 days to run the 9,000 kilometers to its destination.
Shanxi resumed its China-Europe Express freight train service on Feb 25 in the wake of the improved situation for the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus pneumonia in China.
