More cultural resources in Southwest China's Tibet autonomous region have been stored as digital information through the efforts of the Library of Tibet, Chinatibetnews.com reported.

According to the library, more than 9.33 terabytes of data pertaining to local characteristic resources and cultural resources are stored, and the content of the stored digital information includes lectures, agriculture technology, vocational skills, stage art, files and television.

A 500-hour duration ethnic language resource, a featured film on textiles and weaving skills of various Tibetan handicrafts, and a documentary on Tibetan catering culture are among the key cultural components that are stored. Recent years, through the public digital cultural project, the region has established a branch center at the Library of Tibet, seven city and prefectural level sub-branch centers, and 74 county level sub-branch centers.
