Guilin-Panzhihua flight route to open in late October

Direct flights between Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and Panzhihua, Sichuan province will begin operating on Oct 29, enabling residents from both cities to reach each other in one and a half hours.

The new flight GT1083/GT1084 will run every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday by Air Guilin Co. The plane departs Guilin Liangjiang International Airport at 16:30 and arrives at Panzhihua at 18:05. The return flight takes off from Panzhihua Baoanying Airport at 23:40 and lands at Guilin at 01:20.

Guilin boasts several advantages in terms of its location. It is the gateway for the ASEAN free trade zone, as well as enjoys close links with the Pan-Pearl River Delta economic circle, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and Southeast Asia.
