Hundreds of photos showing Beijing's development go on display

A large photo exhibition themed "Beijing progressing with the world 'Beijing in the eyes of foreign photographers'" opened in Chaoyang Park in Beijing on Tuesday.

Beijing municipal government has invited more than 100 foreign photographers from 50 countries in the past 20 years to take pictures of Beijing to record the city's development as well as the culture and tradition of the capital.

During this exhibition, 800 images shot by 119 foreign photographers from 42 countries will be displayed.
Du Feijin, a standing member of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

The exhibition will last until Oct 7.
