Masteel Group

Covering an area of 13.5 square kilometers, Masteel Group is an extra large-sized iron and steel complex in China with a staff of some 43,000 people. The listed group has created a modern development pattern centered around steel industries, steel-related products and strategic emerging industries.

Set up in 1958, the group has made great contributions to the development of the country's iron and steel industries. In 2017, its gross value of assets totaled 91.8 billion yuan ($12.83 billion) and netted a profit of 5.6 billion yuan from 19.71 million metric tons of crude steel.

In recent years, the group has concentrated on structural adjustment and innovation-driven development, carrying out two rounds of large-scale structural adjustment with a total investment of more than 40 billion yuan and boasting four steel production bases in Maanshan, Hefei and France.

The wheels and H-shaped steels produced by the group won it the title of China Top Brand and Masteel brand has been recognized as a China well-known trademark. Currently, the group has built a new development model covering diversified industries, namely mineral resources, engineering technology, trade logistics, energy conservation and environment protection, financial investment, information technology, new materials, chemical energy and scrap steel.

Anhui Masteel Group ranked 116th place in the 2019 Fortune China 500 enterprises with an operation revenue of 81.95 billion yuan.
