Henan University of Technology

Jointly supported by the State Administration of Grain and Henan provincial government, Henan University of Technology is located in Zhengzhou, Central China's Henan province. The university was founded in 1959 and its undergraduate education started in 1959.

Occupying a floor space of 193.8 hectares, the university has three campuses with the total value of teaching and research equipment reaching 613 million yuan ($85.86 million). It has a library collection containing more than 3.08 million paper books.

There are 20 colleges and departments in the university, offering students 67 undergraduate degree programs. It also has three doctoral degrees for first-tier disciplines, 20 master's degrees for first-tier disciplines and five national characteristic specialty disciplines.

The university boasts 1,633 full-time teachers, including 836 with deputy senior professional titles or above, 729 teachers with doctoral degrees, academicians of two academies, distinguished professors on the Chang Jiang Scholars Program, and recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. There are more than 34,000 full-time students, including 1,500 graduates and 50 international students.

Focusing on grain storage, transportation and grain deep processing, the university has developed an all-round scientific research system of grain storage and transportation, silo construction, grain economy and logistic management. Over the past few years, the university has won 10 National Science and Technology Progress Awards and, in 2017, it entered China's top 100 universities for scientific and technological innovation competitiveness.

The university has actively promoted international communication and cooperation. Its education of overseas students started from the year 2007 and it maintains a close relationship with many grain agencies and organizations around the world.
