First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University

Founded in 1956, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University is a comprehensive 3A-grade hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention and management.

The hospital covers 168,000 square meters, with a construction area of 182,500 sq m, including 106,500 sq m used for medical treatment, 17,000 sq m for teaching and 12,700 sq m for scientific research. The hospital has 2,970 patient beds, 17 clinical centers, four technical platform centers, two serious and specialized disease cultivation centers, 34 other clinical and medical technology departments and 25 teaching and research departments.

The hospital has 4,821 staff members, including 1,354 doctors and masters, 309 professors and associate professors, and 264 graduate supervisors (including 80 doctoral supervisors). Twenty-three people enjoy the special allowance of the State Council, and one has won the Nightingale Medal.
