Jiangxi Chest Hospital

Founded in 1950, Jiangxi Chest Hospital is the only 3A-grade chest hospital in Jiangxi province offering services of medical treatment, prevention, teaching and scientific research.

The hospital is also the designated hospital for the Medical College of Nanchang University, and Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for conducting medical training courses and postgraduate education. In February 2014, the hospital was approved by the provincial health commission to diagnose pneumoconiosis.

Covering a floor area of 63,273 square meters, the hospital has two branches in Dieshanlu and Honggutan. There are 1,000 inpatient beds and 30 clinical medico-technical departments, 23 functional offices, and one academician workstation.

The hospital has 711 staff members, among whom 120 are distinguished professors, seven medical doctors, and 80 masters of medical science. Supported by such outstanding talents, the hospital has undertaken a wide range of scientific research projects, and won 13 provincial sci-tech achievement awards.

The hospital is equipped with a wide range of advanced devices, providing powerful support for the accurate diagnosis and treatment of basic medical conditions and critical illnesses.
