Xingtai People’s Hospital

Xingtai People’s Hospital, founded in 1945, is the largest comprehensive 3A-grade hospital in Xingtai, Hebei province, which integrates medical treatment, teaching, research, first aid and rehabilitation.

At present, the hospital has 2,151 patient beds on two campuses: the general campus, and maternity and newborn campus. There are 2,505 employees at the hospital, including 2,406 professional and technical personnel, 139 chief physicians, 238 deputy chief physicians, 42 doctoral students, 567 master’s students, 10 master’s supervisors and seven experts on special allowances from the State Council.

The hospital has 69 clinical departments and 17 medical technology departments. It has one national key specialty, 14 provincial key specialties and key disciplines, and 12 municipal key disciplines.

It also owns more than 300 sets of advanced medical equipment, including a Philips T5-NT nuclear magnetic resonance instrument, a Siemens ultra-high speed spiral CT machine, a Philips angiography machine, a GE digital gastrointestinal machine, an electronic endoscopic ultrasonography, as well as a digital mammary gland machine.
