Chongqing University Cancer Hospital

Chongqing University Cancer Hospital, first established in 1943, has developed into a national 3A-grade cancer hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, disease prevention and rehabilitation.

The hospital covers 4.67 hectares and has 1,480 patient beds. Currently the hospital has 41 clinical departments and medical laboratories, one of which is a national key specialty, four are provincial key specialties and seven are provincial key clinical specialties.

It employs 2,306 staff members, with 10 enjoying special allowances from the State Council, five acting as doctoral supervisors, 22 as master’s supervisors and 507 holding master's or doctoral degrees.

The hospital owns a range of advanced medical facilities such as intraoperative radiotherapy, TOMO, EDGE, PET-CT, dual-source computed tomography and 3.0T MRI.
