AVIC 363 Hospital

Aviation Industry Corporation of China Ltd (AVIC) 363 Hospital, set up in 1972, was opened to public in 1979 and is affiliated to Southwest Medical University.

The hospital has two campuses – Wuhou and Xipu. Wuhou campus has over 700 patient beds and Xipu campus, covering 6.7 hectares with its building area reaching 80,000 square meters, is expected to have more than 500 beds after its opens in June 2019.

The hospital has over 980 staff members, with 112 holding senior titles, 107 having master's degrees, four having doctoral degrees and two enjoying a special allowance from the State Council.

The value of the hospital's fixed assets has reached 473 million yuan ($67 million). It has a range of advance medical facilities such as a gamma knife, ECT, MRI, an extracorporeal shock wave dual positioning rock crusher, a full digital laparoscope and a fiber bronchoscope.

The departments of neurosurgery and orthopedics are listed as provincial key medical specialties and the departments of respiratory medicine, oncology and urinary surgery are listed among construction projects as municipal key medical specialties.
