Tangshan People’s Hospital

Tangshan People’s Hospital, founded in 1943, is the earliest public hospital in Tangshan. It is a 3A-grade general hospital offering medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, health care, and community health services, with tumor treatment as its characteristics.

The hospital covers an area of more than 50,000 square meters, with 1,040 inpatient beds. It has 51 clinical departments, 15 medical technology departments and 44 inpatient wards. The hospital has 1,825 health technicians, including 343 with senior technical titles, 360 with doctoral and master’s degrees, and 31 master degree supervisors.

The hospital has one provincial key discipline, two provincial key training specialties, one provincial key laboratory, seven municipal key disciplines, one municipal key college, four municipal key development disciplines, as well as one municipal cancer institute.

The hospital has various advanced medical equipment such as GE 3.0T, Germany Siemens 1.5T superconducting magnetic resonance imaging system, SPECT/CT, Philips digital subtraction angiography machine, fully automatic biochemical analyser, and color doppler ultrasound diagnosis system.

In addition, it has established international consultation mechanisms with more than 50 large hospitals in the United States, Germany, Japan and Sweden.
