Hebei University of Economics and Business

Built in 1953, Hebei University of Economics and Business is one of the key universities in Hebei province. It is a multidisciplinary university with economics, management and law as its main disciplines, and integrating literature, science, engineering and art as well.

The school was formed by merging the former Hebei Institute of Finance and Economics, Hebei Institute of Economics and Trade and Hebei Commercial College. Covering more than 197 hectares, the university is divided into three campuses. The north campus mainly provides undergraduate, graduate and overseas student education. The south and west campuses are independent colleges, part of the school of economics and management.

The university has 1,949 staff members, including 1,188 full-time teachers, 663 of whom have senior titles and 581 of whom are doctors or doctoral candidates. The university has 10 provincial key disciplines and one provincial key development discipline, among which industrial economics is an excellent key discipline in Hebei province.

The university attaches great importance to international exchanges and cooperation, and has maintained long-term cooperation and exchange relations with institutions of higher learning and other educational institutions in more than 50 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Australia and South Korea. It has more than 180 students from 35 countries.
