Kunming City Maternal and Child Health Hospital was established in 1902 as the first Western hospital in Yunnan province.
It is the only 3A-grade maternal and child health hospital in Yunnan offering healthcare and medical treatment.
The hospital, also known as Kunming City Women and Children Hospital and Kunming Municipal Service Center for Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning, has 693 staff members, 80 of whom hold senior titles and 37 master's or doctoral degrees.
