ZHENGZHOU - Central China's Henan Province has received funds from the central government for its environmental projects.
The funds worth 438 million yuan (62 million U.S. dollars) will be allocated to 28 "ecological civilization" projects, mostly in under-developed areas in Henan, according to the provincial development and reform commission.
The projects will cover resource recycling and pollution treatment, especially in impoverished areas.
The projects will be included in an online supervising platform, where regular assessment will be conducted.
