Ningxia International Language College

Ningxia International Language College was established in 2010 by the approval of the Education Department of Ningxia Hui autonomous region.

The school has been designated by the government of Ningxia as the pilot area for the inland open area and the training base for translation talents in the region, mainly focusing on teaching in Arabic supplemented by other minority languages.

The school has complete infrastructure, including modern teaching, office and dormitory buildings, libraries, audio-visual education rooms, canteens and sports venues, creating a good working and learning environment for teachers and students.

The school now has 1,500 students and 126 faculty members, including 33 holding senior titles and 30 foreign teachers. The faculty includes teachers from Egypt, Sudan and Iraq, and students from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, Syria, Thailand, Indonesia, Libya and other Arab countries doing master’s and bachelor degrees.

This school is the first in Ningxia to qualify to enroll overseas Chinese students from Arab countries.
