Northwest Women's and Children's Hospital

Founded in 1974, Northwest Women's and Children's Hospital, or the Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Shaanxi Province, is a 3A-grade hospital offering medical treatment, health and fitness, rehabilitation, family planning, medical teaching, scientific research and public healthcare.

Occupying 143,840 square meters, the hospital has two branches, 1,000 inpatient beds and 29 departments. It has 2,200 staff members, among whom 119 have senior professional titles, and 11 experts enjoy the special allowance awarded by the State Council.

Over years of development, the hospital has devoted itself to promoting scientific development, and has led the province, even Northwest China, in the treatment of neonatology, pediatric hematologic oncology and pediatric surgery.

In 2017, the hospital conducted 14,434 test-tube baby procedures, an increase of 25.27 percent, with its operating volume ranking sixth in the country.
