Forests of sand willows and dry land willows wave in the wind in the sand land and sand dune.

At present, the Haba Lake National Nature Reserve, which covers an area of 840 sq km, is green everywhere, with lush forests and grass.

What is more valuable is that a considerable and rare area of natural Wuliu (salix cheilophila) and Yangchai (hedysarum mongolicum) forests have been preserved in the south margin of the Mu Us Desert, becoming a unique plant community.
