Anhui Provincial Cancer Hospital

Anhui Provincial Cancer Hospital, also known as the First Affiliated Hospital of USTC West District, was established in December 1985, and got its current name in January 2006.

Covering 64,000 square meters, the hospital is equipped with 971 patient beds. There are 16 administrative departments and 32 clinical medico-technical departments, as well as digital operating rooms, laminar flow clean inpatient wards, modern ICU inpatient wards, emergency departments and a health management center.

Many high-end medical devices, including 3.0T magnetic resonance imaging, and 800mA digital gastrointestinal machines, are available at the hospital for accurate treatment. The hospital has 1,213 staff members, including eight doctoral supervisors and 28 master's supervisors.

Over the years, the hospital has attached great importance to the development of key disciplines, and its bone oncology department and medical oncology were listed as provincial key cultivating specialties.

Having introduced many specialists from home and abroad, the hospital puts priority on the development of characteristic specialties such as head and neck surgical oncology, breast surgical oncology, medical oncology, and pediatric hematology.
