Pu'ai Hospital

Pu'ai Hospital, which is affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, was established in 1864 as the first Western medicine hospital in Hubei province at that time.

After years' of development, the hospital has become a national 3A-grade comprehensive hospital and Wuhan's orthopedic hospital.

The hospital has three campuses – Wusheng Road, Gutian and Changqing – with a well-equipped outpatient building, inpatient building and surgical operation rooms.

It has established 36 clinical departments and medical laboratories, with 2,100 beds. The departments of orthopedics, vascular medicine, pain treatment, blood transfusion, anesthesiology, laboratory medicine, emergency and intensive medicine are listed as provincial key clinical specialties.

It also has a range of advanced medical equipment such as linear accelerators, digital subtraction angiography, a digital integration surgery room, 3.0T magnetic resonance spectrometer and 64-row 128-slice CT.
