Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Hospital

Founded in 1934, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Hospital is a large-scale comprehensive 3A Grade hospital. It integrates medical, teaching, scientific research, health care and community health services.

There are two branches, the Children's Hospital and the Midong Hospital, one affiliated district and one community clinic. The hospital has more than 5,000 employees, 973 medical doctors and masters, 159 professors and associate professors.

With 2,700 beds, the hospital offers treatment and consultation services to more than 2.2 million people annually, and conducts a number of 90,000 operations.

The hospital is equipped with high-precision equipment such as PET-CT, 320-row CT and dual-source CT. With rich clinical experience in the treatment of various diseases, the hospital leads the way in Xinjiang’s medical treatment industry.

A number of specialties of the hospital are honored National Key Clinical Specialties, including Gynecology, Hypertension Cardiology, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, and Clinical Nursing. Heart transplants, lung transplants, kidney transplants have been successfully conducted at the hospital.

The hospital is also the International Emergency Rescue Center of the Ministry of Health of China, and one of the first batch of the 11 national emergency rescue teams.
