Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University

The Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University is a 3A-grade hospital that integrates clinic, teaching, scientific research, prevention and rehabilitation. It is located in the New District of Urumqi city.

As a large comprehensive hospital, it is fully equipped with advanced medical instruments, including a magnetic resonance machine, a double 64-row spiral CT, linear accelerator, and a complete set of endoscopes.

With a construction area of 12,000 square meters and 952 beds, the hospital boasts advanced technology in orthopedics, cardiology and nephrology.

Built in 1937, the hospital was the first 3A-gradehospital in Xinjiang. The hospital has 20 key clinical departments including endocrinology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, gynecology, stomatology, and nursing.

The hospital is also a hemodialysis training base in Xinjiang, a national clinical pharmacist training base.
