Liuzhou hosts 2nd China-ASEAN Industrial Design & Innovation Forum

The 2nd China-ASEAN Industrial Design & Innovation Forum was held in Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on June 28, with political and business representatives, as well as famous designers from China and ASEAN countries conducting keynote speeches and high-end conversations.

With the establishment of a good international trade cooperation relationship with ASEAN countries, Liuzhou has created a cooperation platform for ASEAN countries through the China-ASEAN Industrial Design & Innovation Forum.

At the speeches and industry symposium, famous design masters had exchanges, sharing design concepts that are at the international frontier. They also explored how to drive smart manufacturing through innovative design, as well as how to attract design institutions, innovative companies, and talents to Liuzhou.

Zheng Junkang, Party chief of Liuzhou, said that the city will take this forum as an opportunity to gather talents, technology, capital, market, policies, and other resources to form a cluster of innovative smart manufacturing, promote the institutionalization of international industrial design and innovation exchanges, as well as build platforms of academic exchanges, dialogues, and business cooperation.

The forum also organized tours for guests to visit Liuzhou Industrial Museum, the Baojun Base of SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co, and the China-ASEAN Industrial Design and Innovation Exhibition and New Species Design Exhibition, which showcase the development of smart manufacturing in China and ASEAN countries, as well as achievements in technological innovation.
