Kunming International Academy

Kunming International Academy (KIA), first established in September 1994 with 14 students, is a private international school aiming to offer a better choice for foreign families living in Kunming with kids.

KIA was accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, one of six regional accrediting associations in the United States.

As an American styled international school, Kunming International Academy enrolls students from 3 years old to 12 years old holding foreign passports. The school is currently home to students from 29 nations including the United States, South Korea, Australia, Austria, Benin, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and Thailand.
