Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University

The Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University was built in 1909 as an epidemic prevention hospital, and became the affiliated hospital of Hebei University in 2005 after 21 name changing and three moves.

The hospital is composed of the main and north campuses. The main campus is characterized by comprehensive diagnosis and treatment, while the north campus features diagnosis and treatment of tumors and prevention and treatment of tuberculosis.

Covering a combined floor area of 167,000 square meters, the hospital has 2,300 patient beds and 3,296 staff members, 593 of whom have senior titles.

Currently, the hospital has one national key clinical specialty (Chinese and Western medicine), one provincial key discipline (oncology), four provincial key medical disciplines (neurology, neurosurgery, cardiovascular medicine and respiratory medicine), and seven provincial key clinical specialties (medical oncology, neurosurgery, urinary surgery, rehabilitation medicine, neurology, general surgery and nephrology).

There are also three national-level endoscope training bases at the hospital.
