Thousands hike in Haikou to mark intl anti-drug day

A special hiking event was held in Haikou, capital of Hainan province, on June 23, with thousands of people across the city gathered at Wanlyuyuan Park to start the walk.

The activity was held to mark the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, which falls on June 26 every year, and to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
