Culture and tourism industry expo opens in Changchun

The second Changchun Northeast Asia culture and tourism industry expo – a key part of the 2019 Changchun Summer Relaxation Art Festival -- opened at the Changchun International Conference and Exhibition Center in Changchun, capital of Jilin province, on June 20, and will run until June 23.

The event aims to strengthen cultural exchanges between Northeast Asian countries and promote cooperation in culture and tourism.

Cultural items, creative products, tourism items and intangible cultural heritage items are being showcased at the event, and some tourist attractions in Northeast Asia are being promoted.

The 8th China (Jilin) contemporary calligraphy and painting exhibition is being staged at the event, showcasing 320 artworks to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

In addition, the 4th Jilin intangible cultural heritage exhibition will also take place in tandem.
