Nanchang rice noodles is a popular traditional local food that shouldn’t be missed by any visitor to the province. Jiangxi is a giant producer of rice and many local foods are made from it, including noodles.

The thin rice noodles taste tender and chewy with a special fragrance. They can be made into cool braised noodles, fried noodles or boiled noodles mixed with most ingredients you can think of, such as eggs, pork, beef seasoned with ginger, garlic, sesame oil and soy sauce, as well as local people’s favorite – pepper powder and chili.
