Yunnan Construction and Investment Holding Group Co Ltd, set up in April 2016, is a key State-owned provincial company. The group is the main operation and construction body for Yunnan's construction and related industries.

By the end of April 2019, the company's registered capital had reached 27.56 billion yuan ($3.99 billion), its total assets had amounted to 363.06 billion yuan and its net assets had exceeded 91.75 billion yuan.

The company employs more than 30,000 staff members, over 20,000 of whom are professionals and technicians. It has 59 wholly owned subsidiaries, holding companies and companies directly under its management.

The company runs a wide range of businesses, such as infrastructure investment and construction, investment and development in urban construction, real estate development, international investment and construction, commercial concrete production, building research, prospective design, vocational education and construction labor.

The company has won a lot of awards, such as 37 Luban Awards, the top construction and engineering quality award in China, and two Dayu Awards, the top prize for excellent water conservancy projects in China.

In 2018, the company was listed No 146 among China's top 500 companies and ranked first among all companies in Yunnan province.
