Inner Mongolia Aowei Mengyuan Horse Cultural Ecotourism Area

Founded in 2009, the Inner Mongolia Aowei Mengyuan Horse Cultural Ecotourism Area is located in Shengle town, Horinger county, Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

With an investment of 1.08 billion yuan ($155.86 million), the tourist area is well equipped with a racecourse which can hold 20,000 spectators, luxury stables, an equestrian school and a horse culture museum.

Different species of horses introduced from different countries can be found at the area. A series of comprehensive services are offered including horse breeding, horse trading, equestrian performances and event organization.

Visitors to the area can have close interaction with horses through feeding and horse riding them.
