Expressways

Situated in China's northwest, Shaanxi province enjoys unique geographic location. In 2018, the province's fixed assets investment in transport was 69.6 billion yuan ($10.1 billion), achieving initial success in setting up an integrated traffic and transport system in the province. In 2019, the province will invest 65 billion yuan in transport, providing a solid foundation for the social and economic development in Shaanxi.

Expressways

By the end of 2018, Shaanxi province had recorded total expressway length exceeding 5,475 kilometers, including 4,965 km of State-level expressways and 510 km of provincial expressways, connecting 98 counties and districts, and 22 provincial channels were opened up. It is expected that by 2020, 15 new expressways will be opened to traffic in the province, including Suide-Yanchuan and Pingli-Zhenping expressways, and the total length of expressways in the province will surpass 6,500 km, ensuring that every county in Shaanxi will enjoy the convenience brought by expressways.
