Smart China Expo

Smart China Expo is an annual event in southwest China's Chongqing. The previous expo attracted more than 500 exhibitors from home and abroad, including Alibaba, Tencent, Baidu, and Qualcomm, as well as over 100 foreign guests from 28 countries and regions.

Themed around "Smart Technology: Empowering the Economy, Enriching Life," the three-day expo highlights new products, technologies and modes in the global development of big data and smart industries.

The 2019 Smart China Expo is scheduled to open from Aug 26 to 29 at Chongqing International Expo Center.

Chongqing Marathon

The Chongqing Marathon, an IAAF gold label race, offers 100 hotpot dinners to 1,000 racers, which is selected via a draw, earning it the nickname of "the hotpot marathon."

Organizers are also embracing technological innovations to improve the race-day experience.

PGA Tour Series-China

Chongqing has played a significant role in the growth of the PGA Tour Series-China. It's a city that many of the players are familiar with.

Chongqing Poly Golf Club hosted the previous Chongqing Championship, which was won by Cao Yi in a playoff over England's William Harrold.

Western China Tourism Industry Expo

The 2019 Western China Tourism Industry Expo is scheduled to open at the Chongqing International Expo Center in Liangjiang New Area from June 21 to 23.

The expo is sponsored by the Chongqing municipal government and the China National Tourism Administration. It is themed around promoting tourism sites in China’s western areas.

The 2019 expo will set up six independent exhibition areas, respectively for domestic tourism, cross-border tourism, culture-tourism integration, tourism products, digital technologies, and intangible heritages.
