Weifang Maternal and Child Health Hospital

Weifang Maternal and Child Health Hospital, founded in 1953, has developed into a 3A-grade hospital with sound infrastructure, advanced medical devices and strong technical support. It is the clinical base for a national assisted reproduction and eugenic engineering research center.

Occupying an area of 34,600 square meters, the hospital has 670 patient beds and 1,164 staff members. The perinatal healthcare department was listed as a provincial key discipline, while other 11 departments were selected among Weifang's municipal key specialties.

The annual outpatient amount of the hospital exceeds 720,000 person-times, while the annul number of patients discharged surpasses 32,000. The annual number of women giving birth in the hospital surpasses 12,000.

The new campus of the hospital, Weifang Women's and Children's Health Center, is located at Weifang National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone. It is planned to have a combined floor area of 175,000 sq m, and have 1,200 patient beds. With an investment of nearly 1 billion yuan, the new campus will take about 30 months to finish construction which began in February 2018.
