Zhuhai's medical supply companies do well in Brazil

More than 14 million yuan ($2 million) in intent orders were clinched and over 700 professional buyers received by 14 Zhuhai medical equipment enterprises at Hospitalar 2019, which took place in Brazil from May 21 to 24.

The most prestigious medical trade fair in Latin America, the International Hospital Federation-affiliated expo is seen as a direct channel for medical products to enter Latin America. This year, it hosted 1,200 hospital suppliers in an exhibition area of 82,000 sq m (20 acres), drawing 85,000 business visitors.

Guangdong Biolight Meditech, Zhuhai Meihua Medical Technology, Encode Medical Engineering, Zhuhai Ecare Electronics Science & Technology, Zhuhai Weichuang Technology, Royal Fornia Medical, Zhuhai Foyen Tech, and Zhuhai Far-Star Science & Technology were among the delegation members.

The Zhuhai Enterprises Association for Foreign Economic Cooperation also promoted local industrial parks and clusters for investment. Brochures with English briefings on the city and delegation enterprises were distributed.

Meanwhile, a series of activities were held in Brazil and Peru from May 20 to 24 to increase economic and trade exchanges between Zhuhai and Latin America.
