The Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held in April in Beijing. With a goal of making a detailed work plan, Guizhou Governor Shen Yiqin held a meeting recently to analyze strategy for Guizhou's contributions to the Belt and Road construction.

In the meeting, Shen Yiqin highlighted that Guizhou must be committed to constructing an inland opening-up pilot economic zone by improving its opening-up channel, platform, mechanism, and environment.

Shen illustrated the importance of cooperation and communication with the Belt and Road countries, noting that Guizhou's international events, including the Big Data Expo and the Eco Forum Global, should be viewed as significant platforms.

In addition, Guizhou will integrate poverty alleviation, big data industry, and ecology revitalization strategies with Belt and Road construction by the means of attracting investment, improving local key industries, agriculture reform, and public service.
