As one of the birthplaces of Chu culture and dating back 3,000 years, Wuhan is a historic and cultural city. Various kinds of events are held in the city such as Cherry Blossom Festival of Wuhan University, Wuhan International Tourism Festival and Wuhan International Yangtze River Crossing Festival, attracting visitors from home and abroad.
