The 2019 Jilin youth horse-riding event was held at the Museum of the Imperial Palace of "Manchukuo" in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, on May 19.

Around 80 young horse-riders participated in the event, including three groups of middle school students, primary school students, and young children.

The museum is home to the country's only urban horse-riding course. It was once a horse stable belonging to Puyi, China's last emperor.

The competition was held to promote horse-related sports and the museum, as well as train more young horse-riders.
