Qianjiang High-Tech Industrial Park

The predecessor of the park was Qianjiang Economic Development Zone, a provincial-level development zone founded in 1996. It was renamed Qianjiang High-Tech Industrial Park in 2015 and upgraded to a national-level high-tech zone in March 2018.

With the former Qianjiang Economic Development Zone as the core, Qianjiang High-Tech Industrial Park also covers the Yuanlin Xinghuo Technological Area, Yangshi Industrial Park, Zhangjin Economic Development Zone, Jianghan Salt Chemical Park and Zongkou Huazhong Furniture Industrial Park.

Petrochemicals, biomedicines, new energy and new materials are the pillar industries in the park. It has also developed soybean and vegetable industry bases consistent with local superior agricultural resources.
