Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine

Founded in 1934 in Nanning, Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine occupies a floor area of 87.4 hectares with two campuses in Xianhu and Mingxiu.

Centering on Chinese medicine disciplines, it actively promotes the coordinated development of different disciplines, as well as strengthens industry-university research cooperation. It is affiliated with 14 hospitals, and a host of bases for scientific research and teaching practice.

Supported by 991 full-time teachers and 161 external teachers, the university provides students with 25 majors for undergraduates, including three State-level characteristic disciplines. It currently has 14,000 full-time students, and has been accepting foreign students since 1976.

Authorized as a China-ASEAN Traditional Medicine Cooperation Center and Talent Training Base, the university has made full use of its advantages to engage in the Belt and Road Initiative, aiming to encourage more exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN countries and China's Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in various fields. At the same time, it has developed strategic cooperative partnerships with 69 universities and institutions in more than 20 countries, such as the United States, Canada and Germany.
