Beijing horticulture expo launches Shanxi Day

The 2019 Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition held a Shanxi Day event on May 12, with the theme "green life and beautiful Shanxi".
The three-day event includes a Belt and Road investment promotion, a marketing fair for Shanxi tourism, and performances featuring Shanxi folk culture.
Shanxi aims to show its achievements in eco-protection and development and attract more people to visit and invest in the province through the international platform offered by the Beijing exhibition, according to Chen Hecai, director of the Shanxi Provincial Committee with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
Representatives from the United Kingdom and Malawi embassies in China and others from the International Pavilion at the horticulture exhibition attended the opening ceremony of Shanxi Day.
