Lianyungang Maternal and Child Health Hospital

Lianyungang Maternal and Child Health Hospital is a national 3A-grade hospital offering healthcare, medical treatment and scientific research. It is affiliated with Yangzhou University Medical College and Kangda College of Nanjing Medical University.

Located in downtown Lianyungang, the hospital has a building area of 26,000 square meters. The new campus of the hospital covering 9.3 hectares with a building area of 93,000 sq m has been under construction since May 2016 and is expected to be put into operation in the first half of 2019.

The hospital employs 967 staff members and has 401 beds. The annual patient number of outpatient and emergency departments reached 700,000 in 2018 and the number of patients discharged amounted to 19,670. A total of 5,694 surgical operations were conducted in 2018.

The hospital has three departments – maternal health, women's health and child health – offering various kinds of medical services such as assisted reproductive technology, family planning, rehabilitation of disabled children, diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and endocrine diseases in women.
